Membership of the Law Society

All persons enrolled as legal practitioners are required to be members of the LSN. The LSN is established and circumscribed in terms of the Legal Practitioners Act, 1995 (Act 15 of 1995) and has, as one of its paramount objectives, the maintenance and enhancement of standards of conduct and integrity of all members of the legal profession.

Apart from the obvious benefit of being able to actively participate in attaining the objects of the LSN, membership also affords legal practitioners access to the LSN library. All members also receive the monthly publication De Rebus.
