Financial matters & support

The Accountant reports to EXCO anc Council. He is responsible for all matters relating to the finances of the LSN, including the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.

In addition to overseeing of the financial processes nd financial soundness of the LSN, the accountant provides support services to firms by way of annual visits to firms as well as one-on-one training. He is also responsible for continuous negotiations with financial institutions on behalf of legal practitioners' firms.

The Accountant is also tasked with business development and special projects within the profession and, in doing so, is involved in negotiations, on an ongoing basis, with all role players, in and outside the profession, as well as continuous liaison with other Law Societies.
