lsn notice   For the past three years the LSN executed an exciting Change Project. The research component of the project involved numerous topics and research methodologies, including surveys amongst members and the users of legal services.
The research results were provided to members and stakeholders, as well as a Change Document which collated all the research findings and proposed changes.
From the Change Document a proposed Legal Practitioners' Bill was drafted.
The LSN now invites all members to provide comments on this Bill.

At the election of Office Bearers and Council for 2019 – 2020 the nomination of Stacey Bock, Chairperson of the Law Society of Namibia, was uncontested and she was elected as the representative on the CLA Council representing Southern African (Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, St. Helena, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia).

The Windhoek FLAD took place on Thursday, 19 September 2019 at the UN Plaza Community Hall, Soweto, Katutura, in a revised format. It was held after office hours (from 17h00 – 20h30).
